Last stage of presentation of NIDI. Delli Noci: "An important work that has allowed us to spread a renewed measure that represents an opportunity for those who want to start again"

The roadshow around Puglia to present Nidi – Nuove Iniziative di Impresa, the 35 million euro measure to support self-entrepreneurship,  closes today, 14 June 2022, at 5 pm at Spazio 13 in Bari.

Seventeen stages in a month to present and promote the call published last February in a version that collects numerous news.

"A journey that lasted a month – declares the Councilor for Economic Development, Alessandro Delli Noci – which allowed us, both through the presence of a camper in the squares for the dissemination of information material, and through conferences with the technicians of Puglia Sviluppo, to ensure the maximum dissemination of a measure with great potential. A completely renewed measure compared to the past that allows the sections of the population most affected by the economic crisis of the last two years to get back into the game, to realize their dreams in their land without the need to leave. An opportunity for unemployed young people, unemployed women but also for those who have recently closed their businesses and who want to redeem themselves. Our goal is to bring thousands of people in need back into the world of work."

Each stage of the roadshow was accompanied by Nidi's camper, which positioned itself in the squares of the cities touched by the tour for the entire afternoon with specialized personnel to deliver promotional material and provide detailed information on the measure.

How the new NIDI works

NIDI (New Business Initiatives), in the new version, is characterized by differentiated aid depending on the composition of the structure and the characteristics of the company.

In particular, targeted and more intensive aid is provided in favor of the weakest subjects (Youth Groups and Women's Enterprises), in the form of the non-repayable fund and the zero-interest loan, with the additional rebate of half of the loan (repayable assistance) for those in good standing with the repayment.

The initiative facilitates youth groups, women's businesses, new businesses and tourism enterprises.

In essence, the intervention makes it possible for people with difficulties in accessing the world of work - including young people, women, unemployed, precarious workers with a VAT number, subjects who have had to cease entrepreneurial activity due to the pandemic, etc. - to start a path of self-employment and self-entrepreneurship.

The benefits vary depending on the characteristics of the recipients:

  • The Youth Teams, which make investments of up to 50 thousand euros, will have 100% help (50% as a non-repayable grant, 25% in the form of the loan and the remaining 25% in the form of repayable assistance).
  • Women's Companies, which make investments of up to 100 thousand euros, will have 100% help (50% as a non-repayable grant, 25% in the form of the loan and the remaining 25% in the form of repayable assistance).
  • The New Enterprises, at least half owned by subjects in conditions of disadvantage at work, which make investments up to 150 thousand euros, will have an aid from 100% up to 80% (half as a non-repayable grant and half in the form of the loan), decreasing as investments increase. In addition, for investments of up to 250 thousand euros, the generational transfer and the takeover of companies in crisis or confiscated are also facilitated.
  • The Tourist Enterprises, half owned by disadvantaged subjects, aimed at promoting innovative and sustainable tourism, which make investments up to 150 thousand euros, will have an aid from 100% up to 80% (half as a non-repayable grant and half in the form of a loan), decreasing as investments increase.
