NTT DATA Bari office inaugurated: goal to reach 500 people by 2025

NTT Data, a Japanese multinational leader in the IT consulting and services sector , has inaugurated its Bari headquarters, an urban regeneration project that transforms a historic building into a dynamic and interconnected campus.
The event was an opportunity to present a large investment and hiring plan. The goal for 2025 is to reach 500 people at the headquarters: Machine Learning Engineer , Quantum Computing Engineer and Generative AI Specialist are among the profiles sought.
“We have been present in Bari since 2022, in the name of a strategy that we pursue with conviction: that of investing in the South and here in Puglia, a region rich in young talents, university excellences with which we collaborate and companies that we support by focusing on the creation of value”. Commented Ludovico Diaz, CEO of Ntt Data Italia on the sidelines of the inauguration. “With this new headquarters we intend to increase growth opportunities on site, encouraging talents to stay in our country to realize their ambitions”.
“The Puglia Region continues its efforts to keep our best talents here,” said the President of the Puglia Region Michele Emiliano . “This is an important initiative because it allows one of the main global players in digital transformation to have a headquarters in Bari, which, thanks to the Polytechnic, the Faculty of Computer Science, and in general thanks to the quality of life that Puglia offers to anyone who comes to work here, make Bari and Puglia a land of great opportunities.
We will continue with the regional strategy Mare a Sinistra to continue to attract talent, make them stay and also make them return to Puglia.”
